Obituary

Bobbie Dean Baker was born December 6, 1933 to Flay Willie Johnson and John Fletcher Baker. Born a twin, she was the fourth child of seven including Porter Rogers Baker, Emma Arnold, Twin Billy J. Baker, John F. Baker, Jr., Alma Ford and Ida B. Parham until the birth of her younger sister Marilyn.

Bobbie grew up in Kensett, Arkansas and lost her mother at a young age. She stepped up and helped her father raise her brothers and sisters after the death of her mother.

Bobbie went on to marry Lawrence Ruffin and on August 22, 1951 gave birth to daughter Patsy Ann Robinson and on September 8, 1952 gave birth to son Michael Ruffin. Bobbie later moved to California to be with her sister Ida and brother Jr. Baker. Bobbie later became one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Bobbie loved her family and helped everyone around her especially her grandchildren.

Bobbie loved to read and trade books with her daughter. She also loved to travel all around the world with her best friend who is her sister Ida B. Parham.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her siblings Billy Baker, John Baker, Jr., Ida Parham and Alma Ford; daughter Patsy Ann Robinson and son Michael Ruffin.

Bobbie leaves to cherish her memories her brother Porter Baker; sisters Emma Arnold and Marilyn; granddaughters Dana Ruffin, Christie Patterson and Donavee Ruffin; grandsons Ancio Robinson, Sr. and Darius Robinson and a host of other relatives and friends. Bobbie will be missed by all.
