IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carolyn Louise
Johnson
October 5, 1953 – November 14, 2025
Carolyn Louise Johnson was born on October 5, 1953, in Phoenix, Arizonia, to the late Jack Johnson and Mary Green Johnson.
At an early age, Carolyn dedicated her life to Christ at Corinth Baptist Church, Tollette, Arkansas; later becoming a member of Friendly Friendship Baptist Church for many years. If she could not attend Church in the building, she would attend online. Carolyn also attended Bible Study with her sisters and others on Ellen Hopkins-Holmes Ministries online. She was an exceptional woman with a deep and passionate love for the Lord.
Carolyn attended school at Howard County Training School, Tollette, Arkansas, and Win terhaven Elementary School, Winterhaven, California. Carolyn graduated from Jordan High School in Los Angeles, California. Carolyn counted her children as her greatest accomplishment in life. She loved them and was both a mother and father to them. She worked hard and focused on making a home for them and ensuring that they had everything they needed and more. Carolyn was a great cook. Her greens, peach cobbler, and dressing were requested by the
family every year for Thanksgiving and other times of the year. Carolyn became a Care Giver who took care of family members and several patients, who became like family to her. Carolyn loved the Lord, family, shopping (fashionista), traveling, and witnessing about
God to others. Sometimes while out shopping, you would look around, and she had others surrounding her while she was telling them how she loved the Lord and how faithful God is and how good God had been to her. Preceding her in death: parents Jack Johnson, Mary Green Johnson; one brother, Charles Lewis: and one sister, Gloria Hopkins. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: son Eddie Muldrew, (Tyeshia) of Long Beach California; daughter Tracey Rockett-Mitchell of Long Beach, California; four grandchildren, Ashley Muldrew, Emon Muldrew, Tylon Mitchell, and Major Muldrew.; three sisters: Bobbie Thomas of Compton, California, Apostle Dr. Ellen Holmes of Texarkana, Arkansas, Linda Preister (Corey) of Nashville, Arkansas; one brother Curtis Charles Hopkins (Lola) of Tollette, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. As well as, a special friend, Nicole Fitzhugh.
