Christine Rosenblatt, 70, was called home to rest. She peacefully passed away in her sleep in Lancaster, CA.

Christine Maxine Rosenblatt was born October 31, 1942 at Parkland Hospital, Dallas, Texas to parents Johnny Young and Alice Faye Young. Christine was named after her maternal grandmother Ms. "Christine" Argusta who nicknamed her "Pima". This nickname was given to Christine soon after moving from Texas to settle in the town of "Pima", Arizona when she was 12 "DAYS" old.

Christine attended Phoenix Union High School in Phoenix, Arizona. There she met and later married Bobbie Glen Lee. They were blessed with a daughter, Delores (Marie) Lee Chatman.

For Christine, family was the most important thing. As a nurturer of children, she fostered two boys, Arthur Rainey and Tyrone "Buster" Washington; raising them as her own and eventually adopting Tyrone from infancy and raising him to the age of 18. She was kind, gentle and truly the heart of the family.

Christine became a professional healthcare nurse for 40 plus years. She loved cooking, music, sports and was an avid Lakers and Raiders fan watching every game. It quickly came to no surprise to those who met Pima that she had a love for family and life in general.

Christine is preceded in death by her father Johnny Young and brother John Lynn Young. She is survived by her mother Alice Faye Young; daughter Delores (Marie) Lee Chatman; sons Arthur Rainey and Tyrone "Buster" Washington; sister Alice Gibbs-Jones; brothers Martin Martinez Young, Jerry Willie Young, Arthur Cory Stano, Kenneth Stano, Phillip Klin Young and Leonard Charles Haywood; grandchildren Garry Chatman, Jr., Felicia Chatman-Ayuso, Akiiki Chatman and Vinketa McDowell; great-grandchildren Treyvon Chatman, Luvlee Dawson, Jaheim Chatman, Nehemiah Chatman, Quentin Ayuso, Saniyah Chatman, Garry Chatman III and a host of nieces, nephews and family extending 5 generations.
