ON October 18, 1964 our Lord blessed Ouida Anderson Henry and the late
Turnia (Tiny) Henry with a son whom they named CHRISTOPHER DONNELL HENRY.
"BERRY". In his youthful years, he grew up in Compton and Lynwood, California.
CHRISTOPHER attended Pioneer and McKinley Elementary Schools in Compton,
California, Fred W. Hosler Middle School in Lynwood, and Lynwood High School.
CHRISTOPHER was very active during his time at the Mountain View Care Center.
Over the years, it became clear that he loved the Lord. Christopher also enjoyed
music and Zumba. He enjoyed Zumba so much that he became a Zumba Instructor.
"BERRy" truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. He loved to go to
Golden Corral or any buffet in Las Vegas. His favorite food was baby back ribs,
Asian food, and chicken. He would have bones stacked up a mile high. He liked going
to Bible Class. He had dreams of attending Calvary Bible College in Murrieta Hot
Springs, CA and one day becoming a Pastor.
ON February 6, 2022 God saw fit to call "BERRY" home.
CHRISTOPHER leaves to cherish and mourn his memory, his mother, Ouida
(Theodis Goolsby); four siblings: Turnell, Ronald (Sherree), Renee (Bishop) Kimberly
(Ralph); nephews and nieces Reginald (Sakeissa), Ronald Jr. (Sean), Ashia, Bishay,
Raquel; great nephews, Amari, Rylan, and Raiden; great nieces, Kalea, and Ryann;
a host of other relatives and friends; Special Thanks to Dr. Kim Chuateco, Medical
Doctor, Dr. Maria Llanes, Psychiatrist, Dr. John Carroll, Psychologist, Dr. Cristine
Gonzales, Psychiatrist and Caroline Tan, Administrator.
