Visitation: Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 1:00pm - 6:00pm at the Long Beach Colonial Mortuary.

Service: Friday, June 19, 2015 at 11:00am at St. John Baptist Church; 741 E. 10th Street; Long Beach, CA.

Interment: Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery; 16701 S. Central Avenue; Carson, CA.

John 14:1-3
14 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Clara Mae Lockett was born in Sidon, Mississippi on April 2, 1946. Clara graduated from the University of Birmingham, Al in 1980 earning a degree in Respiratory Therapist Practitioner until her retirement. Her greatest achievement was her work in the Ministry were she served as a missionary worker as well as doing various other tasks. Later on Clara would go on to fulfill her works for Christ as an Evangelist at St. Stephens C.O.G.I.C in San Diego, CA. She always talked about GOD our father and how she wanted everyone to get to know him.
On June 6, 2015, Clara went on to be with the lord. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Fannie Mae Lockett; two brothers Charles Lockett and Bobby Lockett and one sister Andrella Lockett.
Clara leaves her cherish memories to her three sons Lamar, Melvin and Napoleon Lockett; four sisters Anna Lockett and Carolyn Lockett of Long Beach, CA and Gloria Lockett and Geraldine Lockett of Mobile, AL; one brother David Lockett of Mobile, Al; one uncle Levi Washington of Long Beach, CA; grandchildren Nadia, Melvin, Jr., Tierra, Charity and Micah; three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Her legacy will be remembered as how much
Clara, "Loved The Lord".
