Obituary
Connie Maxine Heights was born November 30, 1955 in Wichita Falls, Texas to the proud parents of Hubert Stephens and Ruthell Heights. As a child before moving to Los Angeles she attended Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and Booker T. Washington Elementary of Wichita Falls, Texas. In 1956 she moved to Los Angeles and attended Ralph Bunch Junior High and later Centennial High School. Connie worked as a Nurse's Aide for many years.
Connie accepted Christ into her life at an early age and she loved to sing for the Lord. She had the gift of love and there was no one too big or too small that she didn't LOVE. Connie was preceded in death by her mother Ruthell Heights; father Hubert Dean Stephen, grandmother Hattie Simmons; three aunts Isabell Maynard, Lillian McFarland and Dorothy Jean Harvey; two uncles Robert Simmons and Lonnie Simmons and brother Anthony Stephens.
Connie leaves to cherish her loving memories two daughters LaTanya Tolliver-Bey (Grady) of Norfolk, VA and Wakesha Moore of Long Beach, CA; one granddaughter Jaushaque McFarland of Lynwood, CA; one grandson Anthony McFarlan of Lynwood, CA; one great granddaughter Lai'Lani of Watts, CA; four sisters Clodean King (Chester) of Grandfield, OK, Nadine Robinson (James) of Inglewood, CA, Pauline Evans (Ollie) of Wichita falls, TX and Andrea Robinson of Las Vegas, NV; one brother Othniel McKinney, Jr. of Wichita Falls, TX; special cousins Robbie, Archie, Bobby, Joe, Jackie, Darlene and a host of other relatives, cousins, friends and over 50 nieces and nephews.
