Obituary

Cynthia Marie Miles was born November 28, 1952 at Harbor General Hospital in Carson, California to the parents of Erma Lee Miles and Leonard Hawkins. Cynthia grew up in Long Beach and she attended Whittier Elementary, Franklin Jr. High and Poly High School.

After High School Cynthia wanted to venture out on her own; therefore, she left home to explore her new beginnings. Cynthia was a "free spirit" and she had a great love for people. Although she did not have any children of her own, Cynthia loved children. She helped to raise all of her nieces and nephews. Each of them had a special place in her heart. Cynthia worked a few years as an In-Home Caregiver.

Cynthia loved to listen to the oldies and dance. She also had a love for watching scary movies; and she loved to take pictures. Cynthia had so much love for people. In her early life Cynthia accepted Christ and she attended a few different churches, but she really enjoyed The Rock Christian Fellowship with Pastor Gregory Sanders.

On Thursday, October 30, 2014 in the quiet of the day; God in His infinite wisdom stepped into His Garden of Life and He picked one of His most radiant flowers; in the form of Cynthia Marie Miles.

Cynthia leaves to love and cherish her precious memories her loving mother Mrs. Erma Shelley of Long Beach; one brother Roger Fisher of Long Beach; three sisters Rohna Miles of Long Beach, Deborah Jones (Jesse) of Mira Loma and Marilyn Miles of Adelanto; a very special niece Karissa Alexander of Long Beach and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Our beloved Cynthia may you rest in Jesus until we meet again.
