Eleanor Frances Hollins, affectionately know as "Little Lady", was born on July 14, 1933 in Vaughn, Mississippi. Eleanor was the eighth of thirteen children born to BB Hollins, Sr. and Mary Jane Wade-Hollins. Eleanor accepted Christ at an early age. She received her early education in the Yazoo County Public Schools in Mississippi and later completed her education at DuSable High School in Chicago, Illinois. After moving to California, she united with Greater Harvest Church and then united with White Rose Church of God in Christ where she served as Bible Band Teacher. Eleanor had a beautiful voice and loved to sing; whether it was solo or with her sisters. Eleanor continued as an active member of White Rose Church of God in Christ until she closed her eyes for the last time. While living in Chicago, Eleanor met Eugene Dale and through this relationship their son Ellis Dale Hollins was born. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Jane Wade-Hollins and BB Hollins, Sr., her brother BB Hollins, Jr., her brother Roosevelt Hollins and her sister Elizabeth Hollins. Eleanor leaves to cherish her life and memories one son, Ellis (Roberta) Hollins of Fontana, CA; granddaughter A'ja (Shaun) Wallace of Atlanta, GA; granddaughter Christina (Chauncey) Lincoln of Moreno Valley, CA; grandson Craig Jackson of Lake Forest, CA; a great grandson Jayden and great granddaughter Brooke both of Atlanta, GA; great grandson's Chauncey Lincoln II and Christopher Lincoln both of Moreno Valley, CA; one brother Roylan (Alma) Hollins of Los Angeles, CA; nine sisters: Verna Phillips and Estelle Hollins both of Chicago, IL, Lucille Durr and Isabelle Travis both of Long Beach, CA, Mary (John) Green of Compton, CA; Earnestine (Willie Albert) Mayberry, May (Jimmy) Jefferson, and Helen Buckley all of Jackson, MS; a special niece Jenifer Denise Robinson of Compton, CA; a special friend Mary Winters of Long Beach, CA; all the special friends at Long Beach Senior Housing-especially Arlene Nevins and Adam Hanafy (Resident Manager); and a host of nieces, nephews and friends
