Obituary
Guadalupe Martinez was born October 9th, 1946 at home in San Antonio, Texas. She is survived by her soulmate Jose J. Hernandez; daughters Elia l. Martinez and Rosanna Gonzalez; sons Samuel B. Gonzalez, Benjamin P. Martinez, Jesse A. Martinez and Joseph I. Hernandez; sisters Susie M. Hilliard, Estella Gonzalez and Janie Chavez; brothers Resugio Mandujano, Dimas Mandujano and Luis Mandujano; grandchildren Jasmine Martinez, Israel Martinez, Jesse A. Martinez Jr., Matthew Cunningham and Michael Grissom.
She sadly left us all on December 13th, 2013 in long beach, CA where she has resided since 1969. Her big heart and loving nature made her beloved by many. Guadalupe (or simply known as Lupe) was a Mother, a Grandmother, a giver, a fighter, and warmth in any given direction to which definitely needed light shined upon it. A best friend and Mother to all who approached; she was unlimited in offering.
She will be remembered for her courage to stay alive despite many trying times of sickness. She will be blessed for her ubiquitous, outreach of care for others. Without question Lupe was and will always be an example to human standards. An unpublished writer, yet, had filled years' worth any success one can reach, and her life is a romance of its very own.
