James Edward Archer was born November 3, 1953 in his grandmothers home to Frank Archer and Mamie Waters. His father preceded him in death at the early age of 20; but not before he had three sisters Mertha, Monica and Mona.

His mother then met and married Burrell P. Price, Sr. and together they had three more sons Gene, Sr., Burrell, Jr. and Gerald and one girl Mamie Jr.

James was a happy child and attended Ann Street Elementary School in East LA, Markham Jr. High School in Watts and graduated from Jordan High in Watts. James was on the Track Team at Will Rogers Park and also the Swim Team. He was also a very good cook and loved to entertain. He was a great decorator, a sharp dresser and smelled good. He worked at Cedar Sinai and USC General Hospital for many years.

James attended Church off and on; but he knew Jesus.

Price, Sr. of San Antonio, TX, Burrell P. Price, Jr. (Pamela) of Boston, MA and Gerald A. Price (Charlette) of Long Beach, CA; two aunts Bernice Nelson of Los Angeles, CA and cousin Michael Waters of Los Angeles, CA and Henrietta Waters of Santa Fe, NM; nephews Michael, Marcus, Jack, Jr., Nigel, Jr., NaDonte', LaRon, Gene, Jr., Albert, Gerald, Jr., Jarrod, Donovan, Johnavan and Leland, Austin; nieces Monique, Patrice, Adell, Sharnae and LaRhonda and special friends Lisa Day and Authur Sparks.

There are many first cousins and 50 other great nieces and nephews but we will not try to name them; and this family wishes you all to know we love you and Blessed to have so many people in this family.
