Obituary
John, Corral, beloved brother and uncle, was born on January 12, 1929 in the city of Indio; Riverside, CA. He was the son of Jose and Juanita Corral-Maldonado and was the second oldest among ten siblings; Jean the oldest, John, Albert, Zita, Juanita, Daniel, David, Joe, John Bernal and Esther the youngest. Three siblings have passed away and gone to heaven before him which are Jean, Zita and David.
John was raised and went to school in Watts, CA. In 1946, at the age of 17 he joined the United States Army serving and defending his country proudly. During WWII in Okinawa, Japan he was honorably discharged.
On March 22, 1952, at the age of 23, John married Marry Vernavidez. To this union one son and four daughters were born. John's favorite pass time was playing cards and enjoying watching his favorite football team which was the 49ers.
Sadly, John left us all on February 8, 2014 in Long Beach, CA where he has resided since 1970. John Corral will be remembered and missed by all family members. He will be especially missed by his youngest sister Esther Rivera; whom had the privilege and honor for many years to care and love him in his time of need; sharing wonderful times and memories.
