Obituary

Our brother and friend Jorge Ruiz was born in Long Beach, California on July 23rd, 1981 in the year of our Lord and passed away in the city that saw him grow from a boy to a man in Long Beach, California on August 24th, 2014 in the year of our Lord. Jorge Ruiz was the fourth oldest child of surviving parents Virginia Vasquez and Jorge Ruiz, Sr.

Jorge Ruiz left behind a daughter Sophia Ruiz as well as six surviving brothers, five surviving sisters and countless surviving friends and family members that forever will miss him. Full of kindness, Jorge Ruiz was always there for all who needed a helping hand and it was hard for him to say no to a friend who was in need.

The Lord has decided to take our brother up into the heavens, for He needed an honest angel as loyal, noble and humbled like Jorge Ruiz used to be; as well as a great friend and brother. A man of good principles and respected by many for his way of being. The pain will remain in our hearts forever and life will never be the same without the laughter and voice of our brother. Jorge always believed in respecting others and treating others the way he wanted to be treated.
