Obituary
Kathleen Harris Callum AKA Kat, Kitty and Katha was born on Sunday, December 17, 1939 in Wilmington, California to Adell and Gennecy Harris. Kathleen was the middle child of five daughters. She was a graduate of Phineas Banning High School.
At the age of seventeen, Kathleen met Robert Callum, who quickly became her forever love as they married on December 18, 1958, only one day after her nineteenth birthday. From this marriage came two sons, Tony Callum and Bobby Callum and two daughters Vivkie Callum and Felecia Callum Scott. They spent most of their lives in Long Beach, California.
Kathleen worked in the food service industry for several hospitals. She was employed for over two decades at Dominquez Valley Hospital and equal time following at St. Mary Medical Center where she retired in April 2013.
Kathleen has left a wonderful impression upon everyone who was blessed enough to have known her and her signature large reddish hair do. A beautiful woman to say the least, Kathleen was beyond extraordinary.
Kathleen is preceded in death by her father, mother, Adell and Gennecy Harris, two sisters Alene Everett and Tanza Harris and husband Robert Callum whom she was called home to be with on their wedding anniversary.
Kathleen's legacy will continue through her sons Tony and Bobby Callum; daughters Vickie Callum and Felecia Callum Scott; four grandchildren Monique Callum Jones (Michael Jones), Jasmine Scott and Helana and Forrestt Callum; three great grandchildren Tyler, Justin and Glorious Jones; two sisters Lois Davis and Doris Harris; three brother-in-laws Earl Davis, Earl Butler, Jr. and Waymond Butler; two sister-in-laws Olla Jones and Reta Butler and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
Kathleen will be missed immensely.
