Viewing: Wednesday, March 12 from 3-6:30 at Long Beach Colonial Mortuary Chapel; followed by Military Honors at 6:45Pm. Services immediately following honors at Long Beach Colonial Mortuary Chapel at 7pm.

Private interment Thursday, March 13 at Riverside National Cemetery.

Obituary

Keith Rodman was born on January 29,1965 in New York City, New York to Bernard Rodman and Janice Fowler. Keith departed our lives on February 21,2014 residing in Long Beach, California. Keith attended Spring Valley Senior High School in Spring Valley, New York where he graduated in June of 1984. Keith enjoyed a variety of sports, dancing and most of all he loved music. As a result of his love of music, Keith wrote and recorded several songs. Keith served in the United States Navy from 1989- 1992. As a veteran of Operation Desert Storm, he earned many medals for his outstanding accomplishments. These medals included the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal w/1 Campaign Star, and the Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon. Keith settled in Long Beach, California where he was a proud and loving father. In addition to spending time with his children, he spent numerous hours talking about their accomplishments. To reflect and cherish Keith's memories he leaves to mourn in his passing his six children, Jason Keith Charles, Daniel, Nyah Iman, Nia Soleil, Na'im Khalil and Kayden; Mother, Janice Fowler of Great Neck, New York; A brother, Kai Jones of the Bronx, New York and a host of friends, family and extended family.
