Obituary

Luke Berry was born on December 29, 1957 to the union of Howard and Mary Berry. He received his formal education through the Los Angeles Unified School District in Wilmington, California and earned his high school diploma from Banning High School.

If anyone knew Luke, they knew that he was a dancer to his heart! Luke loved to dance!! He knew the latest music and the latest dance moves. He would walk into a party and the first thing everyone would notice was his clothes! He was always sharp!! Then he would "bust a move" and the party would begin!

Luke had a love of people and never met a stranger. He had such a way with people that they called him, "Cool Hand Luke"!

He loved his family very much and would see his big sister, Geneva, often. He lovingly called her "Sis", and would always compliment her on her looks and attire. His relationship with his brother-in-law Donald was special. Not known as a "church going" man, Luke came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior through his relationship with Donald.

Luke is preceded in death by two sisters Ernestine Reese and Jeraline Jackson.

On Saturday, January 11, 2014, Luke "danced his way into heaven"! He leaves to cherish his memory three brothers Isaiah Berry, Hubert Berry and Richard Berry; one sister Geneva King (Husband, Donald); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Luke will be truly missed,
but never forgotten.
