Mary Frances was born on September 18, 1940 in Round Rock, Texas. She passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 28, 2015. She was the older of two children born to the union of Lloyd and Lurline Eason. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband James Wright who passed away in 2013 and to whom she was married for over 33 years and her brother Charles.
Mary Frances grew up in Indio, California. She graduated from Coachella Valley High School in Palm Springs, California. Upon graduation, she married her high school sweet heart, Bueaford Wallace, who also preceded her in death in 1997. To this union, 4 children were born.
Mary Frances moved to Los Angeles County and was a lifetime resident of Altadena for over 50 years. She attended Pasadena City College in Pasadena, California and earned a degree in Computer Science.
Mary Frances worked for Abbott Laboratory in South Pasadena, California. After 36 years of loyal and dedicated service with the company, Mary retired in 2000. She was a stellar employee and consistently demonstrated excellent work ethics. She enjoyed her retirement to the fullest.
Mary Frances was a faithful and active member of the First African Methodist Church in Pasadena, California. She was actively involved in church organizations such as the Women's Fellowship and Club 65. Mary loved working in these organizations as it was her way of giving back.
Mary Frances enjoyed bowling and traveling. She was a long time member of the TNBA Bowling League and traveled near and far to attend Bowling Tournaments with her husband, James and many of their friends.
Mary Frances loved her family and loved spending family times together. She is survived by her four children ; two sons Johnny and Danny Wallace , two daughters Tammy Collins and Selene Cox , a son-in-law Isaac Cox, seventeen great grandchildren: Grandsons - Jonathon Pruitt, Danny Wallace Jr., Nicholas Wallace, Jamul Wallace, Justin Wallace, Marvel Wallace, Michael Flores (Carmellgyrl) and Toussaint James. Granddaughters - Monique Wallace, Natasha Wallace, Brenda Grundy (Benny), Tiffany Morris (Jeffery Hargrew, fiancée), Jasmine Wallace, Amber Wallace, Lena Wallace, and Brittany Cox-Boose (Nathaniel), twelve great grandchildren and host of other family members and friends whom loved her.
Mary Frances was kind, giving, polite, funny and incredibly generous with her time and talents to her family. She never complained a day in her life even as she declined due to her many illnesses. She taught her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to trust in God and put him first. The legacy of her love will live on in the memory of those who were fortunate enough to know her, to love her and be loved by her.
