Merelyn Renee Miller 56, was born July 22, 1959 to the union of Roosevelt and Diane Miller in Torrance, California. The Lord selected from garden of the earth and picked his rose Merelyn on Sunday June 5, 2016, to blossom spiritually and see the beauty of his heavenly place. She was the third oldest of 7 children and was AKA Boss Co, because she was the assistant in caring and helping for her four younger siblings.

Merelyn was raised in Long Beach and attended St. Vester Church in her early years of life and kept praising the Lord by saying thank you God for every happy and sad occasion that occurred in her life. She attended Long Beach Poly High School and after graduation Merelyn decided to traveled from coast to coast to enjoy and learn from different cultures; and every adventurous place she visited she shared a story among family and friends. She also liked to clip the "Love Is" article from the LA Times Newspaper to share with others when they were sad. Aside from traveling Merelyn settled down twice to give birth to two wonderful daughters; the love and heart beats of her life Chanwtia who has the characteristic business side of her and Tonette who has the wonderful adventurous characteristics of her. Together they became the "three musketeers" who had a life that was loving, caring, full of fun and laughter. Despite the loss, the two remaining musketeers will hold onto the memories of their mother and forever she will remain eternally in their hearts.

The proudest moments of Merelyn's life was when she was introduced to being a grandmother and great grandmother to Chanwtia's children; Shannon 24, Chris 22, Delaina 17, Starr 10, Laron 9, and Soriah 8 and Tonette's children; Javen 22, Ka'Lynn 19, Lapria 16, Zhania 11, Michael 7 and All'ya 10 months and her two treasured great grandchildren from Shannon; Jer'miah and Mariah. Merelyn was outspoken about her grandchildren and great grandchildren and she became a kid at heart and kept up the fun loving adventures of life she shared with her children.

Merelyn is preceded in death by her father Roosevelt Miller, brother Darryl Miller, nephew Aaron Miller and niece Bengela Johnson whom she cared for and loved dearly.

Merelyn leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother Diane Miller; three sisters Debbie, Michelle and Denise; two brothers Randy and Timothy; two daughters Chanwita Nunn and Tonette Harris; grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
