Viewing will be held on Friday, October 31. 2014 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm at Long Beach Colonial Mortuary.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 10:00am at New Hope Baptist Church 1160 E. New York Street Long Beach, CA 90813.

Obituary

Pearline Crutcher was born May 1, 1930 in Huntsville, Alabama to Earline and Willie Garner. After graduating high school she married her childhood sweetheart, William Crutcher; who was home on leave from the Navy. After having two children, Linda and William Jr. the whole family moved to Long Beach, CA; where Michael was born to the family. This is where she lived for over 55 years until her death. During that time she found Christ and started attending New Hope Baptist Church under then Pastor N. J. Kirkpatrick. She was a faithful and active member. She was a member of the Everlasting Friendship Club, the Senior Choir and taught Sunday school classes.

Pearline, age 84, died October 20th, 2014 has now gone to be with the family members she brought to Christ - her mother, father, husband William, brother William Martin and son Michael. She leaves behind her brother James Martin and his family; daughter Linda Stephens; son William Crutcher, Jr,;grandchildren Jeffrey Stephens, William Crutcher III, Nicole Stephens and a host of other family members, "adopted family members", friends and all of her church family.
