Obituary
Roderick Adams was born on August 1, 1983 to the union of Phyllis Gathrite and Jeffery Harris in Long Beach, CA. Roderick was affectionately known as "Rod" to all that knew and loved him.
Roderick graduated from the Long Beach Polytechnic High School. Later he obtained a position with the Oregon Police Department as a Correctional Officer for more than 9 years.
Roderick absolutely loved Basketball and Football. He was very involved in music entertainment and was referred to as "Hot Rod". Most of all, Roderick was an amazing father.
Roderick was very kind and noble; and because he was an organ donor; his passing away saved five lives.
Roderick leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother Phyllis Gathrite; father Jeffery Harris; son Deon Adams; two beautiful daughters on the way; sister Jackie Tolbert and a host of other relatives and friends.
