Obituary
A loving mother , sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend was birthed into this world on February 18, 1945 in Long Beach, CA. Her parents, Lulluree and William named her Ruth Mae Bridgette. She would later be named "Tootie."
Ruth was baptized in 1954 from the Christ Second Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Herman Gore, Sr. She received her religious education and training in many of the church auxiliaries.
Ruth received her education in the Long Beach Unified School District. She graduated from the L.B. Poly High School in 1963 and attended L.B. City College.
Later, Ruth started a family bringing into this world four loving children, Shawn, Lulluree, Daniel and Courtney. Her two sons Shawn and Daniel preceded her in death. She dearly loved her children and as her pastime, she loved cooking for them as well as watching her favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys.
After being ill, God in his infinite wisdom called Ruth from this life.
Ruth leaves to mourn her passing two daughters Gwendolyn and Courtney; sister Marilyn; brothers Robert, George, Ronald, Charles, Nathan, Jerry, Michael and Harlan; aunt Mrs. Ruby Chadwick and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
