"Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not to come unto me; for such is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 19:14
Sur' Promise Temeke Joseph Cullins was born on April 24, 2009 in San Francisco, CA to the parents of Jovan Simril and Tameka Cullins.
Sur' had a sweet angelic spirit and a beautiful tender smile that will surely be missed. Sur' was in his first year of preschool and was always excited to attend each day. He showed early signs of being an exceptional child and a technical genius as he could program the T.V. remote, fully navigate the computer and work any cell phone; all without any assistance. Sur' was so full of "Promise" and life and curious about the world around him. He will surely be missed from his earthly home but we are comforted in the fact that he is now in the arms of Jesus.
He spent every waking moment with his Mother Jovan and he was always by her side. It was just Jovan and Sur' taking on the world. She wanted him to see and experience the world in its fullness and to give him the best in life. However, God knows best and little did we know that day, that God was going to call your name. In life you were loved dearly, in death you will be loved the same. You left peaceful memories and though we cannot see you; you will be ever present in our hearts and our memories. Your laughter, fun and gentleness will be missed. The time shared with you will now be filled with emptiness. But a Mother's love for you will always remain.
Sur' leaves to mourn his death his Mother Jovan Simril & Co-Parent Tameka Cullins; two Grandmothers Lavelle Simril and Regina Tillman; one Grandfather Joseph Mincy; two Great Grandmothers Sumantha Simril and Claudine Laws; two God Parents Fashionette Queenie and Dwight Haynes; four Aunts Coquis Mincy, Laura Johnson, Rhonda Johnson and Tanisha O'Neal; five Uncles Dominque Williams, Dante Cullins, Terrell Johnson, James Duffy and Kenneth Rich; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
