Obituary
Wanda Freeman started one of her careers after receiving her degree. She worked for the IRS for 4-5 years. Afterward she worked at the post office for 40 years until she retired. During these years, Wanda also took on the duties of being a Girl Scout Leader.
Wanda Freeman was married to husband Edward Freeman for 60 years. Wanda Freeman was one of the most generous women you could know. She gave and helped anyway she could. She would do this although she didn't have much to give. She would make her generosity and giving work.
Her generosity rubbed off on her children, a little over much. My father would buy fruit for a week or two and the neighborhood children would come and received fruit from us; two weeks of our fruits would dwindle down to 2 pieces of fruit for the week.
Edward Freeman, her husband got the great idea of putting a heavy duty chain and lock on the refrigerator which taught us children to share what we had. Instead of us children being over generous. (Case Solved).
Wanda's generosity never waivered. This trait was handed down to her from her mother Gladys Frisco and her auntie Sug Reese. She picked up this trait and excelled at it.
Wanda Freeman was preceded in death by her husband Edward and grandson Michael Jones.
She leaves to cherish her memories her children Racheal Freeman, Edward (Angela) Freeman III and Theresa Freeman; grandchildren Vonna, Amber, Ashley, Marcus, Derrick, Melissa, Megan and Jennifer; brother Ervin Frisco; sisters Patricia Frisco and Evelynn Joseph; nieces and nephews Lawrence, James, Milton, Joseph, Stephanie, Richard, Corey, Calton, Adrian, Shelly, Karen, Kelle, Savannah, Baily, Noah, Pheonix, Belle, Marcus and Kelli's newest arrival fine twin boys Gray and Gavin; cousins Juanita, Kelton, Jonny, Reese, David, Bryant, Paul, Keith, Marrisa, Tiffany and Jonathan and other grandchildren.
I would like to give a special "shout out" to my modern day Tupac, Mr. Vincent for maintaining my hope through this. May God bless us all to keep living loving safe and full of his joy Gray and Gavin.
