Wilhelmina Michelle Crooks-Bragg will forever be remembered as a loving, kind-hearted, and warming sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend.

She was born on July 28, 1961 in Torrance, CA to the late Betty Jean Pruitt & Lawrence Crooks. She grew up on the Eastside of Long Beach, CA with her sister Betty and 2 brothers Eddie & Lawrence Jr., Lawrence lived only 10 days after birth. She also lived in Paris, CA with her stepmother Elois Crooks, 2 sisters Jacquelyn and Valeria and another brother named Lawrence (Sonny).

She went to school in Long Beach and Riverside, CA completing her last grade in 1976. After which she embarked on motherhood with a loving daughter Marquita, and then started her career as a healthcare professional for a short time. In 1980 she married the late Colie Copeland to this union came three children Colisha, Jacquell and Lawrencia who pasted away 4 months after birth. They later separated. In her separation she had a common law union with the love of her life Kenny Bragg and within this union Kenneth Bragg was born.

Throughout her life she provided great love and care for all of her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She always had an ear for listening and a plate to fill your belly for who ever needed it. Her wisdom and compassion that she shared will live on and remain with us for eternity.

On August 18, 2013, she departed her earthly home for her heavenly home with our Lord and Savior. She is survived by her Children: Marquita Crooks, Coliesha Copeland, Jacquell Ramsey, Lawrencia Copeland (decease) and Kenneth Bragg, Granddaughters: Aaronnisha Miller, Grace Brown, and Hannah Moore (yet to be born), Grandsons: Jonah Copeland, Tyler Whitmore, Kamaurion Splane, Zaccheus (Carlos) Molina, Miccahi Crooks, Kenneth Bragg Jr., and Moses Moore (yet to be born), Sisters: Betty Love, Jacquelyn Finis, and Valeria Houston, Brothers: Eddie McDonald, Lawrence Crooks Jr. (decease), Lawrence (Sonny) Barron, Son-in-law: Andre Ramsey, also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a great number of friends and neighbors.
