William Melvin Turner was born on October 22, 2002.
He was the second and youngest child of William O. and
Juanita Turner. William attended Harts Academy at
Narbonne High School where he graduated in June 2020.

William attended Central Baptist Church in Carson all his
life where he was dedicated as an infant and was
baptized in August 2014 along with his sister. He was also
a member of the Pastor's Choir. After taking weekly
drum lessons at the church, he became part of the music
ministry - playing the drums for the Pastor's Choir. He
was also an assistant Sunday School teacher and a
member of the Safety Team.

William absolutely loved being around family – whether
it was a holiday gathering, going on trips, going to
sporting events, playing video games, watching sports on
TV, or a simple outing at the park, beach, or mall. One
thing he retained was his fiercely competitive spirit
because he liked to win! Thankfully, his high school
team was a championship team earning him three rings
in four years of playing.

After high school, William enrolled and attended classes
at El Camino College. He was also employed at a local
restaurant where he not only worked in the restaurant
and occasionally at catered events, but at a local
stadium during sporting events.

He departed earth on Sunday, February 26, 2023.
William's memory will forever be cherished by those who
survive him: his loving parents William O. (Bill) and
Juanita Turner; his sister Elise Turner, grandparents
William M. Turner and Guillermo &; Veronica Gale; aunts
and uncle Janet Turner Yarbrough and Fernando &;
Raynesha Gale, a godson Khalil Cole, Jr.; and a host of
family and friends.

Preceding him in death were his grandmothers Essie
Harris Turner and Margaret Gale, and his godfather Fred Yarbrough.
